    back in China

I'm back in China, and things are getting back to normal as we fall into our daily routines.  Last week I went shopping at Auschan which is a large grocery chain here similar to meijers in that you can find lots of everything there.  This place is owned by a french company, so they also have some foreign goods.  They do not always have foreigners shopping there though, and I had forgotten what it was like to have people watching my every move while I shop.  The massive amounts of people was also a big welcome back.  Generally I have had a hard time adjusting back into taking the bus places.  Moslty this is because it is still WAY hot in Beijng and there are LOTS of people riding public transportation.  I have never thought of myself as someone who gets claustrophobic but earlieer in the week I found myself feeling just that.  On the flip side earlier in the week I was left with the feeling that regardless of the daily trials, I know that this is exactly where I am supposed to be beyond any shadow of a doubt.

Classes are going well, I got to move up with my students, which was exciting, so now I teach three, four, and five year olds.   They are adorable, and I recieved lots of hugs and I miss yous when I returned.
